Free Guest Post or Article From Me!

free-sign

Would you like a free guest post or article, handcrafted by me and sealed with a kiss?

Of course you do.

Whether you’re caught up with dealing with other aspects of your business, or you just want a fresh voice for your website, then I’ll be happy to provide a quality piece of content just for you.

I’m currently offering a free guest post or article to my readers because I believe that a well placed guest post is  more valuable than a paycheck.

Of course, even though I’m not asking for payment,  my guest posts  will be provided  if  you would be happy to fulfill two simple requests:

1. Two links, which will go to my two websites (this site and my writer site, darylgeorge.com).

2. A short testimonial (30-50 words) to be  used on my testimonial page.

That’s it! For the price of a couple of links and a few lines about how absolutely wonderful I am,  I will provide you with a quality  guest  post or article. If you would like to get in touch with me, you can  fill out the form on the contact  page, or email me  at daryl@darylgeorge.com.

Looking forward to hearing  from you!

Daryl

  2. Hi Daryl,

I looked over your site and like what I see. You’re a great writer. I would love to see the results of your “Free Guest Post” experiment when you have enough data.

I assume you did it to build your portfolio. I ask because I’m considering doing the same.

I have background in IT and SEO so I write about a lot about tech, gadgets, WordPress and blogging. I did, however notice issues on your site.

    1. darylgeorge.com/?p=74 – This shows that your permalink structure is still set to default. You should go to Setting –> Permalinks and click the Custom Structure radio button and put in the following:
    /%category%/%postname%

This setting will help the search engines determine what your posts are about and will help with your rankings.

    Example:
    Not SEO Friendly:
    darylgeorge.com/?p=74

    Is SEO Friendly:
    darylgeorge.com/content-marketing/free-guest-post
    domain.com/category/post-name

    2. Since we’re talking categories, all of your posts are using the “Uncategorized” category which means you haven’t assigned any categories yet.

I hope this helps. I don’t mean to call attention to these issues, I just want to help. I’m sure I have errors on my site as well. :)

If you would like more WordPress SEO tips like these, I just published a guide on my site that I give away for free with newsletter signup. Take a look:

    Keep up the great work!

Just in the nick of time Troy! I actually only recently (last week) noticed this issue, and I totally agree with you – for SEO purposes, I do need to change my website titles, but I’ve been so busy that I simply put researching this issue on the back burner. Now that I see it’s so simple I’ll definitely have to make those changes as soon as possible.

PS – I’m also rushing to download your free wordpress guide right now!

      Cheers!

      Daryl

I think this is a great idea for both you and those you write for. Networking online is absolutely important, and guest posts are a fantastic way to do that. However, guest posts are able to benefit both parties. I have sent you a message saying I would like to have you do a guest post. I would also be happy to do a guest post on your site if that would make you feel like you got more from your work. Your call.

    Keep up this great writing!
